Representative Matters
Sarah recently served as second
chair in a federal jury trial on behalf of a large employer defending claims of discriminatory
failure to promote. The jury deliberated for less than 90 minutes and found for the firm’s
client on all claims.
Sarah successfully argued a motion to dismiss
in federal court on behalf of a staffing agency sued by a former applicant.
Previous Experience
Prior to joining the firm,
Sarah worked as a law clerk for an Administrative Law Judge with the Federal
Mine Safety and Health Review Commission. She gained experience with workplace
safety law, retaliation claims, and federal administrative hearings. She
also mediated safety violation cases between federal regulators and mine owners.
