Previous Experience
Prior to joining Martinez Law Group
in 2019, Melyssa served for 2 1/2 years as Law Clerk to the Chief Judge for Colorado’s
Second Judicial District (the City and County of Denver).
Melyssa was also a judicial fellow
to the Honorable Allison H. Eid (now Judge at the United States Court of Appeals for
the Tenth Circuit) while a Justice at the Colorado Supreme Court. During her judicial
experience, Melyssa assisted with matters of first impression, bailiffed complex civil
trials, attended oral arguments and drafted trial orders, orders on appeal, and
recommendations for certiorari. Melyssa also sat on a civil procedure committee where
she created judicial forms for civil litigation.
